Successful launch event: new legero lightness campaign with brand ambassador Funda Vanroy presented in Hamburg

The women’s shoe brand legero is launching the coming season with Funda Vanroy as brand ambassador and a new lightness campaign. To kick things off, legero invited guests to an exciting “legero City Retreat” at Tortue in Hamburg in April. A great deal of knowledge about the lightweight legero shoes was presented, coupled with personal experiences and information on the topic of lightness.

Graz/Hamburg, 29 April 2024. legero deliberately chose the term “lightness” for its brand identity. In addition to their timelessly beautiful design and sustainable production, legero shoes are characterised in particular by their lightness. The brand name therefore says it all. From the Austrian women’s shoe brand’s point of view, a comfortable and light feet feeling is crucial for wearers to master the challenges of intensive everyday life between work and family – with ease. The right shoes are the game changer.

Combining the ingredients of Oshibori, a healthy drink, a barefoot course and foot yoga with an exciting lightness talk with TV presenter and legero brand ambassador Funda Vanroy, renowned orthopaedist and “Leichtfüßig” author Dr. Matthias Manke and legero Brand Manager Manuela Sobotka, the result is an exciting retreat that brings the topic of lightness to life for mind and feet. Over 20 journalists and influencers accepted the invitation.

Funda Vanroy officially introduced as legero brand ambassador
In order to further build legero‘s brand awareness and convey the philosophy of lightness in an authentic and likeable way, the well-known TV presenter Funda Vanroy was officially introduced as the new legero brand ambassador during the retreat. “Her personality, her lifestyle and her enthusiasm for legero make Funda the perfect brand ambassador for us. As a modern, confident and active woman, she perfectly reflects our target group. With her positive charisma and unique style, Funda embodies the lightness and versatility that characterise our brand,” says Manuela Sobotka, Brand Management legero. Funda Vanroy, who says of herself that she is always on the move, enthuses about the collaboration: “I love working with legero. Feet play a much bigger role in life than many people realise. They keep us moving, maintain our balance and carry us through everyday life. A good shoe is of enormous importance for a healthy musculoskeletal system. The question of what makes a shoe a good shoe was explained by Germany’s best-known orthopaedist and author of the book “Leichtfüßig”, Dr. Matthias Manke, at the legero City Retreat: “A good foot climate and breathable, high-quality materials, such as leather, are particularly important for the quality of a shoe. legero uses bamboo textile for the inner lining of some models, for example, which makes the shoe particularly comfortable to wear and breathable. I am also positively impressed by the fact that legero does not use glue in the production of the shoes, but instead uses direct soling with so-called Direct Injection technology. This makes the soles particularly flexible. And it’s ideal for the foot sensors to absorb as much information as possible.”
