„Pink October”: legero creates awareness for women’s health

Graz, 1.10.2024. As a brand by women for women, legero wants to support wearers to move with lightness in everyday life. That’s why legero shoes are characterised by their particularly low weight. A target weight is defined for each model in the collection as early as the concept phase, even before the first sketch, in order to develop an optimally lightweight shoe.

„To be able to move lightheartedly and safely, women also need a good balance of body and mind. And enough time to take care of their own health“, explains Manuela Sobotka, Brand Manager at legero. „As a leading women’s shoe brand, the topic of women’s health and prevention is particularly important to us.“ legero is therefore colouring October pink in the spirit of women’s health care: during the whole „Pink October“, a donation will be made to the Austrian Cancer Aid for every pair of legero shoes sold in its online store and for all likes and comments generated on social media. On October 1st, International Breast Cancer Prevention Day, even the headquarters campus of the Austrian women’s shoe brand is lit up in pink. And throughout the entire October, legero will be offering tips and suggestions to help women take even better care of their health and actively take preventative measures. „We are delighted to be supporting the Austrian Cancer Aid organisation with this initiative and helping to raise awareness of the important topic of prevention“, says Manuela Sobotka.
