Focus on healthy children’s feet: Successful influencer event by superfit, GORE-TEX and Falkensteiner at the Family Resort Lido in South Tyrol

Under the motto ‘First steps into winter adventure’, leading children’s shoe brand superfit, GORE-TEX and Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences invited guests to an exclusive influencer event at the Falkensteiner Family Resort Lido in South Tyrol during the Falkensteiner Lido ‘Baby & Toddler Weeks’. Several families from Germany, Austria and Italy took part in the multi-day programme.

The focus was on the needs of the little ones and their requirements for first walking shoes. superfit and GORE-TEX informed the influencers and hotel guests about what their kids need for warm and safe first steps in autumn and winter. The families in attendance gained comprehensive insights into the technologies, materials and quality standards that have made superfit the market leader for decades. One highlight was the presentation of the GORE-TEX membrane: experts explained how it reliably keeps children’s feet dry while also being breathable, making a decisive contribution to comfort and health, especially in the cooler months. superfit then showed how the high-quality models are manufactured on child-friendly lasts and how fit and flexibility ensure optimal support for healthy foot development. Practical knowledge was provided by a presentation from a paediatric physiotherapist, who informed influencers and hotel guests about when first children’s shoes really make sense, what criteria are important when buying them and what makes a perfect children’s shoe.

The joint Bobby Car race in the Rooftop Sky Adventure Park on the hotel roof caused excitement – and provided the first reality check – as families were able to test superfit models for fit, durability and flexibility. The spontaneous reaction: lots of laughter, fun and a convincing practical test of the high quality of the shoes. With this event, superfit, GORE-TEX and Falkensteiner placed a strong emphasis on education, quality and awareness of healthy children’s feet – while also underlining the importance of reliable partnerships in the family segment.
