Graz, 20 June 2023. As a pioneer in sustainability, Think!, a brand of the Austrian shoe manufacturer legero united, has been focusing on holistically sustainably produced shoes for over 30 years. Its approach: sustainability from start to finish, from leather tanning to disposal. It’s a convincing approach. More than 50 Think! shoe models have already been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel and the Blue Angel. Five more models will be introduced for the autumn/winter 2023 season.
A transparent approach for environmentally conscious purchasing
Think! is deeply committed to the responsible stewardship of the environment and existing resources. For this reason, the collections are produced as sustainably as possible and primarily natural materials are used. In 2015, Think! was the first shoe manufacturer to be awarded the Austrian Ecolabel – one of the most stringent sustainability certificates in Europe. The Austrian Ecolabel is a state-awarded seal of quality for ecological business that marks environmentally friendly products and services.
In 2017, Think! received its first Blue Angel certificate. It stands for independent, transparent and ambitious labelling designed to provide consumers with reliable guidance for environmentally conscious purchasing.
More than 50 Think! models have now received the coveted environmental seal. Five more models will be added for the autumn/winter 2023 season. In addition to the men’s sneaker JOEKING and the women’s boot RENTO, three women’s lace-up boots of the model COMODA hold the two environmental certificates. All certified shoes have been manufactured according to the highest ecological and social standards, are made of 100% chrome-free tanned leather and contain no perfluorinated chemicals. That is good for your feet and the environment.
