Perfect craftsmanship and top quality materials have the highest priority in the production of our collections for women, men and children. The company was founded in 1872 in Vienna by Bernhard Strakosch. The company flourished under his son Otto Strakosch. In his time he was considered the „king of shoemakers“. His women’s shoes – made of the finest silk, artfully embroidered, lined with leather, all the way to the very finest exquisite leather pumps – were delivered all over the world.
Today, we offer our collections under the superfit, legero and Think! brands in 42 countries. As an owner-managed company with more than 2,100 employees and headquarters in Feldkirchen near Graz, we have an international presence with our own production sites and sales companies.

Stefan Stolitzka takes over the management of Legero Schuhfabrik GesmbH

The Company moves from Vienna to Styria. Logistics headquarters established in Hungary and sales companies in Germany and Switzerland

2022
superfit is voted best shoe brand by consumers in the Austrian Brand Monitor of the ÖGVS. According to a study by a well-known German parents’ magazine, superfit is one of the most popular brands among German families. In a study by the magazine Footwear Today, the English shoe trade awards superfit as Children’s Shoe Brand of the Year. The German shoe retail selects Think! as the top brand in sustainability. legero united receives an award from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action for the programming of its eco-database.
2023
Think! shoe model HAUKI (spring/summer 2023) receives nomination for the Green Product Award. legero united receives the German Innovation Award for its proprietary eco-database.
